Almost nine out of ten businesses in the USA use social media for marketing purposes. Companies find social media very important for communicating with their customers and distributing their content. That couldn’t be more true for consumers as well, since 46% of them turn to social media when making a purchase.

Companies need to be where their audience is. And their audience is on social. Each social network brings its own audience and its own etiquette. So to make the most of social media you need to know the differences and can’t simply go with a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach. Here’s a cheat sheet.
