KINTO Europe is proud to renew its participation in Toyota Open Labs 2024/2025, a transformative program connecting visionary startups with Toyota’s diverse ecosystem to drive innovation, advance mobility, and promote sustainability. Designed to address real business needs within the company, Toyota Open Labs serves as both a platform and a yearly program to accelerate meaningful change in the mobility landscape.

What is Toyota Open Labs?
Toyota Open Labs goes beyond a traditional accelerator program. It supports Toyota’s evolution into a comprehensive mobility company by focusing on six strategic pillars across key organizations, including TME, KINTO Europe, Toyota Mobility Foundation, Woven Capital, and Tsusho:

We are inviting growth-stage startups and scaleups to collaborate with Toyota’s business units. Whether seeking funding or already generating revenue, participants will have the chance to contribute to groundbreaking advancements in mobility.

Empowering Innovation: PoC Success in Our Team – The HLPY Story
In 2024, through Toyota Open Labs, KINTO Europe and KINTO Italy collaborated with HLPY to launch a proof of concept (PoC) focused on improving roadside assistance.

HLPY delivers a fully digitalized roadside assistance experience, covering the entire process—from the customer’s initial request to the return of the repaired vehicle.

In Italy, this PoC was implemented for 19,000 KINTO ONE units in operation (UIOs), delivering impressive results so far:
